Greendoor Logistics

A Zambian by birth, Ken Hall’s entry into the transport industry started in 1972 with the movement of horses.  By 1983, Blue Chip Racehorse Carriers was the biggest horse transporter in South Africa.  After acquiring various other transport businesses, the company was listed on the JSE in the mid 1980’s as Supertrans.  Ken served as Chairman of Supertrans for three years, before selling his interest in the company to the Super Group.

On his return from the U.K. where he operated his own horse transport business, Ken got involved in Hazardous Packing and the transportation of Hazardous Goods, whilst simultaneously setting up a specialist cross-border transport operation.  This culminated in the establishment of the Greendoor Group, which now includes Cargo 2 Congo , Ka Go 2 Go , Hazardous Cargo Packers and Crossloadings Zambia Ltd .

Within a four year period, the Greendoor Group has grown from a turnover of R3 million per annum, to a current annual income of over R100 million.
